I have spent the last Twelve years developing fun, innovative and rigorous standards aligned STEM programs and content materials for a variety of formal and informal education providers. 

Managing all aspects of the Fab Lab at California State University, Bakersfield including supervising staff, developing and leading programming, maintaining equipment and networking with the public on all aspects of digital fabrication.


Leading the development of programming in the Fab Lab with the largest number of visitors in the world at the Museum of Science and Industry, Chicago.


Guiding a brand-new exhibit and creating a novel innovation-themed workshops in a dynamic and extremely accelerated development schedule.


Winner in two of five categories for the Innocentive Science Lesson Plans for Grades 6-8, runner up in third category. Lesson plans published in Popular Science magazine, September 2012.


Developing four complete project-based instruction curricular units for Citizen Schools, covering a variety of topics from Design Thinking to learning about trigonometry through model rocketry.


Supporting the out-of-school time STEM competition organization Science Olympiad in a wide variety of roles, from national event supervisor to rules editor to lesson plan writer and app developer.


Supervising the creation of hundreds of STEM project-based instruction lesson plans by dozens of apprentice teacher teams while working for UTeach, a teacher training program within the University of Texas Colleges of Education and Natural Sciences. Assisted with ideation, writing, editing and implementation in Austin-area public schools and museums.
